Journal of Applied Material Science (JAMS) publishes original reviews, mini-reviews, and research articles covering emerging applied fields in many areas of engineering, applied materials, and biomaterials. We are specifically interested in all research reports on next-gen biomaterials, future materials, and living materials. The research areas currently covered by JAMS include (but are not limited to) the following:
• The discovery of soft matters including polymers, polymer composites and nanocomposites, hydrogels and porous structures, innovative nanomaterials, and advanced materials for energy storage/conversion and biomedical applications
• Interactions between materials and their impact on applied sciences, as well as interfacial interactions between living (biological) and non-living components
• Future materials and biomaterials, next-gen sustainable materials, biological materials, and living materials
• Advanced drug delivery systems with defined application fields and all other aspects of bioengineering
• Impact of different applied materials and biomaterials on humans and the environment
Guest Editor proposals or ideas for a thematic or geographical/institutional/event issue are welcomed and should be shared directly with the editor-in-chief.
We also provide our authors benefits, such as Share Links, a high-quality graphical abstract page for each published article, a CC BY 4 copyright policy, and much more. Please see our Guide for Authors for information on article submission.
